About us
DR Electric is a California State Licensed and Certified Electrical Contractor.
Being a Sonoma County (West Santa Rosa) resident his entire life, David Ramirez started as an electrical apprentice 13 years ago. In 2018, DR Electric was established to assist with the ever-growing demand for new electrical projects, solar panel updates and installations, while providing his clients with a high-quality solution for any of their electrical needs.
David’s family (wife and 2 children) is what motivates him, and his goal has always been to own his own business. David is a state certified electrician and licensed contractor while employing certified journeyman.

“I installed a whole house generator to help us survive the numerous blackouts my neighborhood was and continues to experience. I have solar panels that are completely useless during a power outage because you need a very expensive and very big battery pack to run your whole house. During the installation of the generator my installer began asking questions about the solar panels and bypass etc that concerned me. I called the people who installed the panels, explained my concern and after looking at some pictures of the generator panel install they recommended that I turn off the generator and contact David Ramirez, an electrician they have worked with. David came right out and inspected the install. It was poorly done, in fact it could have damaged the new generator by allowing power from my panels to feed into the generator. He also noticed that the size of the gas line was not to specs due to the distance between the main and the generator. I also called a plumber in to fix that. David corrected the electrical mistakes and the poor installation job. I was impressed by his professionalism his organization and his fair price. My generator works great, thanks again David.”
